For Classes I to V :
The pupil’s daily progress in oral and written work will be assessed and recorded.
For Classes VI to X :
- Regular examination schedules will be intimated from time to time.
- Tests will be held in all subjects for all classes.
- Evaluation will be based on student’s continuous and comprehensive performance during the year.
- Grade system of evaluation will be followed in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
- No Exams will be conducted for absentees.
- Students found resorting to unfair means during any test will be marked zero in that subject. They will also not be eligible for any academic award or school appointments. Serious action could be taken against repeated offenders.
- A student may be given exemption from appearing in an examination in case of serious illness subject to production of a Medical Certificate in effect from a physician of competence. However such Medical Certificate should be submitted to the Principal prior to the commencement of the Examination.
- Parents are strongly advised not to send children to school if they are suffering from stomach disorders, fever or any infectious disease even if the class is having a test/examination. However, serious view will be taken against those students who habitually absent themselves from class tests on one or the other pretext.
- The Pre-Board Examination is compulsory for all students of Class XII which will be conducted on the Board pattern. Every student must attend this examination and get a pass percentage in all subjects, should she be declared fit for the Board Examination.
- From the year 2011 onwards students of Class X will appear for their Class X Exams conducted by the school, based on CBSE syllabus and will get the certificates issued by the CBSE Board.
Note : Admissions to Class XI
Admissions to Plus two classes of different streams will be starting immediately after the declaration of the results of Class X Examination. All such admissions shall be subject to merit, based on an Entrance Test and Viva Voce during which students will be assessed and suitably advised to opt for different streams of their choice subject to suitability and availability of vacancy. Girls seeking admission from other Schools should submit qualificatory documents to the satisfaction of the School along with the Application to be eligible for appearance in the Entrance Test, subject to availability of vacancy.
