Absence

  • Every student is expected to be present in the class on all days throughout the year. However in case of reasons of serious in nature, leave of absence could be granted subject to submission of prior written application by parents or guardians to the Principal.
  • Appointments with doctors, dentists etc. must not be arranged during school hours.
  • It is compulsory for a student who is absent for a day, for untoward reasons, to bring a leave note addressed to the Principal and signed by the student’s parent/guardian.
  • In case of absence due to long illness/contagious disease etc., the Principal should be informed in advance. While rejoining it is compulsory to submit a medical fitness certificate issued by a physician of competence along with the joining letter.
  • Children who are suffering from Measles, Chicken Pox and other infectious diseases should not be sent to school until the infective period is over.
  • Measles - 11 days from the day of onset of cold & fever.
  • Chicken Pox - 2 weeks after rash appears and till the crust has completely fallen off. This is a preventive measure to protect your child and the spread of the disease in the school. Serious action will be taken if children with Fever, Chicken Pox or other contagious diseases are sent to school.
